Azerbaijan's ruling party will use the method of campaigning 'from door to door' during the pre-election campaign.

"We will try to introduce our challenge to every voter in Azerbaijan. The most fruitful method is to communicate and talk to each voter, either through our own candidates or their authorized representatives and agents. We will try to establish connection and communication with each voter through these three persons that in order to campaign our candidates as widely as possible and to convey our challenges and slogans to the voters. This is best to be done at meetings with each family, each voter. I mean the method of agitation 'from door to door'," Ali Ahmedov, deputy chairman of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) said in an interview with party's official website.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.

According to Ahmedov, in parallel with the method of 'door to door', NAP intends to widely apply the visual propaganda materials.

"I believe that our visual campaign materials will reach every family, apartment and house. As a third form of activity, we're going to hold mass rallies, which are fruitful method of campaigning. We recognize that despite the large impact of mass actions on the activity of the campaign, these actions can not cover all the voters in Azerbaijan. I believe that other parties also can not reach all the voters in the country only through mass actions. Thus, by using different methods, forms and technologies, we will try to cover all voters to create a connection and communication with each of them, present them our word," said Ahmedov.
