An event dedicated to Azerbaijan was held at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The event aimed to introduce two peoples, support scientific and cultural exchange. It was held at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana, the Azerbaijani embassy in Slovenia said.
Vesna Chrnivets, famous photojournalist, artist and translator spoke at the event. She informed the participants about the history, ethnography and ancient cultural heritage, the current socio-economic situation of Azerbaijan, as well as the challenges facing the country, the grave consequences of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the situation of refugee children and internally displaced people.
The photos and video materials on the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, including images of Gobustan Reserve, Shirvanshah palace, Ateshgah, were demonstrated.
