Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received a delegation headed by Richard Stone, Chairman of the National Conference for the Jews in Russia, Ukraine, Baltic States and Eurasia (NCSJ), the Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said.
Stone said that Azerbaijan is a country with high rates of development. He said that tolerant environment in Azerbaijan has deep historical roots.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said that a tolerant model of Azerbaijan, where people of different faiths and nationalities live in peace and harmony with each other. It is one of the fundamental values of the country. He said that Jews live in peace and tranquility in Azerbaijan.
Several issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
