Wages increased for employees of several organizations funded from public budget in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on increasing the salaries of employees of some organizations financed from the Public budget, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on increasing the salaries of employees of some organizations financed from the Public budget, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

Under the order, the monthly salary of heads and other employees of the following organizations financed from the Public budget will increase by an average of 10 percent:

- The board and administration of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, administration of Nakhchivan branch, the Center for Scientific Innovations;
- State Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Diplomatic Academy under the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAj);
- Research Center "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia";
- Center of Ataturk in Azerbaijan;
- State Archives of the Republic of Azerbaijan and their affiliates, district (city) state archives;
- Working group of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Protection of State Secrets under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Working group of the State Commission on POWs, Hostages and Missing Persons;
- Permanent working group of the State Anti-drug Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- State Film Fond under Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan branch;
- Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Fund of the state support of media development at the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- The Secretariat of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The order comes into force from Oct. 1, 2010.
