Azerbaijani, Georgian FMs agree to intensify meetings on border demarcation

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed to intensify meetings to resolve issues of demarcation and delimitation of the borders, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at the joint news conference with his Georgian Counterpart Grigol Vashadze in Tbilisi.

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed to intensify meetings to resolve issues of demarcation and delimitation of the borders, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at the joint news conference with his Georgian Counterpart Grigol Vashadze in Tbilisi.

"This was one of the themes of our meeting. We have noted the need to intensify this process, despite the current schedule of the foreign ministries' meetings on the issue. We have reached an agreement on this," he said noting that "the issue should be solved once and for all."

Meanwhile, Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction with the progress of negotiations on this subject.
