Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct. 18 / Trend M. Aliyev /

The experience of social networks will be first used while conducting exit-poll in parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

The Independent Research Center ELS created a special website. The information about the exit-poll will be placed there, Irada Yagubova, ELS Director, told Trend.

"The results of ELS trainings showed that young people actively use social resources such as Odnoklassniki, Facebook both in cities and villages. Taking into account this factor, we decided to use Internet resources and organize the transfer of information over phone. This will allow us to save both time and money, " Yagubova said.

He said that at present, the center completes to hold trainings in all regions of Azerbaijan.

"ELS organizes an exit-poll in 1,180 polling stations. Interviewers' questionnaire will be counted four times a day. The survey will be submitted to the central headquarters.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.

ELS has been conducting exit-poll in all elections in Azerbaijan since 2006.
