The party "Our Georgia - Free Democrats" is going to change the power in Georgia only through the elections, Party Leader Irakliy Alasaniya said. He made such a statement in connection with the intention of the new opposition "Georgian party" to put an end to the current regime through revolution.

Alasaniya said time of the revolutions has ended and his party would win a change of power only through elections.

"Regarding the "Georgian party", I can say that it is not so strong to change the power by this way," he said.

Alasaniya also welcomed Russia's decision to withdraw its troops from the occupied Perevi village in the Sachkhere region.

Despite the fact the security measures have not fulfilled in the region, the process should be monitored, he said.  

"We need to create additional security mechanisms and involve the international observation missions in the process," Alasaniya noted.
