International pressure on Russia should continue, Moscow still must perform the bulk of the Sarkozy-Medvedev agreement, said a representative of the Atlantic Council Damon Wilson.
The Council's representative made this comment in Tbilisi at the Center for Strategic and International Relations, which hosted an international conference on integration into Euro-Atlantic space.

According to him, Russia should fully de-occupy Georgia as soon as possible.

This question was also commented by the deputy U.S. ambassador to Georgia Kendo Longstone. He welcomes the withdrawal of Russian troops from Perevi and notes that this is a positive step taken by Moscow.

Longstone also commented on NATO's Lisbon summit, scheduled for the near future.

"At this summit, it will be clarified how to continue future relations between the alliance and Georgia," he said.
