Today departments of the World Turkmens’ Humanitarian Association (WTHA), whose representatives assembled in Ashgabat on these days to hold the next conference, operate in 14 countries worldwide.

Today departments of the World Turkmens' Humanitarian Association (WTHA), whose representatives assembled in Ashgabat on these days to hold the next conference, operate in 14 countries worldwide.

The WTHA departments operate in Sweden, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, USA, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The Association was established in 1991.

"Dozens of our brothers living in various countries, conduct business in their historical homeland, making a worthy contribution to the country's steady advancement in the way of progress and radical changes in all spheres," the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhummadov said in his message to participants.

According to him, the scope of these works will consistently grow, further development will cause cooperation in the fields such as science and education, culture and entrepreneurship.

"We will support our compatriots living outside of Turkmenistan, in issues of training in higher education institutions, increasing qualification level and exchange of experience at enterprises and organizations in our country," the message says.
