The "Coalition of election monitoring - 2010" held trainings in Ganja for observers for the forthcoming parliamentary elections of Azerbaijan.

Over 100 observers, who will monitor the elections in the constituencies No 37, 38, 39 and 40 in Nizami and Kapaz areas, attended the trainings.

Aydin Kerimov, the head of the coalition project, and Oktay Gasimov, the head of the organizing committee of this coalition, informed observers about their rights and responsibilities on Election Day. The participants of trainings got familiarized with the rules of filling in registration forms. Observers got registration form and booklets on the rules of election monitoring.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
