The leaders of the PPFA-Musavat political bloc have today announced the bloc's election platform.

The platform is titled "For the sake of radical transformation".

The PFPA-Musavat bloc unites the parties PFPA and Musavat, as well as intellectuals, public figures and prominent politicians that support the political position of the bloc.

The bloc has prepared an extensive and comprehensive program of constitutional, economic and social reforms in the country.

This platform reflects the basic ideas and approaches recorded in these programs.

The bloc has also defined objectives in the election, which include "Freedom to Karabakh", "Bread to the poor" ,"Work to the unemployed", "Conditions for businessmen" ,"Gas, electricity and water - in every home", "Return of bank deposits "," Property of every citizen is inviolable" and others.

The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 37 candidates from the PFPA-Musavat bloc to the parliamentary elections.

Elections to the Azerbaijani parliament are scheduled for Nov. 7. According to a list submitted to the Central Election Commission, the number of voters constantly living in the country is about 5 million people.

Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
