A special issue of Diplomat magazine, devoted to Azerbaijan, has been published.

The special issue has been prepared to present to the public of Great Britain the recent events that have occurred in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani embassy in Great Britain told Trend.

This issue tells about the Azerbaijani-British relations, indicates that these relations are developing dynamically. In addition to the energy sector, the ties between the two countries in the humanitarian, cultural and educational spheres are strengthening. The magazine describes the activity directions of Azerbaijani organizations in the UK.

The section on foreign policy says that Azerbaijan's foreign policy is pragmatic, and the cooperation with the regional countries is expanding. The publication indicates an increase in the number of diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan around the world, and also refers to the success of the country in international organizations. The main priority in foreign policy was called a peaceful settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.

The economic section of the magazine tells about the continuous economic growth in Azerbaijan. It notes that thanks to successful economic policies pursued in the country, the global economic crisis less affected the country compared with other countries in the region.
