Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the newly elected President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I cordially congratulate You on Your election as the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil. I hope that the Azerbaijani-Brazilian bilateral relations, friendly exchanges and cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations will continue to grow in the interests of our peoples," the congratulatory letter said.
Ilham Aliyev wished Dilma Rousseff good health, success in activities to the benefit of the friendly people of Brazil.
