In Azerbaijan the voting of electors whose names are not included in electoral lists is to be provided, the chairman of CEC Mazahir Panahov said on Saturday at the concluding press-conference devoted to the preparation to parliamentary elections.

In Azerbaijan the voting of electors whose names are not included in electoral lists is to be provided, the chairman of CEC Mazahir Panahov said on Saturday at the concluding press-conference devoted to the preparation to parliamentary elections.

"The ensuring of the voting of people living on the territory of these constituencies refers to obligations of the electoral commissions, but their names are not included in electoral lists", - Panahov said.

The chairman of CEC also called to everybody for being vigilant and report to the Central Electoral Commission about any efforts of violations during the course of the parliamentary elections.

At the parliamentary elections 690 candidates are to compete, Panahov said.

According to him, 46 639 local observers are registered for the observance of the course of elections.

"From 3466 people, who are to observe the course of elections within the whole country, 102 ones are nominated by political parties, 560 - by NGO, three - by candidates and the remaining ones - according to their personal wishes. 43173 observers on the definite constituencies have been accredited by relevant district electoral commissions", - Panahov said.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. On September 3, the official start for elections was declared.

Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies where 5314 polling stations are organized.
