The Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed a decree on celebrating the holy Gurban Bayram (Days of Sacrifice).
Nov.17, 18, 19 are declared day off in connection with the celebration of Gurban Bayram in Turkmenistan.
Gurban Bayram has celebrated in the country at the state level after its independence.
Traditionally, on these days the streets are full of music sounds, there is a lively trade. High swings are set up in settlements as "a symbol of purification". On the first day, sacred Gurban ayat prayer and rite of sacrifice will be made in all mosques. President will address the people on the occasion of Gurban Bayram.
