Georgia will soon complete talks with the EU on readmission, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a briefing today.

According to the official, an agreement simplifying the visa regime has been already formalized with the EU and an agreement on readmission will be signed tomorrow in Brussels. The agreement will be signed from the Georgian side by Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.

"We suppose that the agreement will come into force in spring 2011," Kalandadze said.

Readmission is consent to receive back into one's territory citizens who are deported from another state.
