The Turkish General Staff has provided the Georgian Defense Ministry with logistics supplies. According to the Defense Ministry, Georgia received technical equipment worth $1.5 million under a military grant agreement dated 2005 and a logistics protocol.

The Turkish General Staff has provided the Georgian Defense Ministry with logistics supplies. According to the Defense Ministry, Georgia received technical equipment worth $1.5 million under a military grant agreement dated 2005 and a logistics protocol.

Georgia received eight batches of vehicles and various other technical equipment.

"Turkey and Georgia have broad experience in terms of cooperation in defense, and today, Turkey has provided logistics assistance," Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Nodar Kharshidaze said. " I want to thank this country."

"We are cooperating in logistics and education," Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Levent Murat Burhan said. "Today's event is part of the annual assistance provided by Turkey to Georgia."
