Azerbaijan and Italy signed an agreement on visa-free regime for individuals with diplomatic and service passports.
The document was signed today within the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister, Senator Alfredo Mantica's visit, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are at a high level, and they are reflected in both bilateral issues, as well as in cooperation within the international organizations, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a meeting with Mantica.
Mammadyarov also noted the great potential for cooperation.
Mantica expressed his confidence in the development of cooperation between the two countries and noted Italy's interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan not only in the oil sector, but also in non-oil sector.
The sides noted the importance of intensifying cooperation between the two countries' parliaments.
