President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended a ceremony here in the settlement of Zabrat to open a newly-constructed building for the Karabakh war disabled and shahid families as well as to present cars to the Karabakh war disabled, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Fuzuli Alakbarov told President Ilham Aliyev that construction of the building with a total area of 11,814 sq. meters began in December 2008.
The building has 81 flats.
President Ilham Aliyev toured the building and gave his instructions and recommendations.
A video conference was organized with participants of an opening ceremony of residential buildings in the Pirallahi settlement and Yeni Yasamal district. People thanked the Head of State for the care and attention.
The President also viewed a model of the 9-storey residential complex for the disabled and shahid families in the Sabunchu district. The Head of State laid a foundation stone of the complex.
