India is interested in developing economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.
"India is interested in developing economic cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields, and to this end in March, a delegation of trade industry of India will pay a visit to Azerbaijan," Indian Ambassador to Baku, Debnath Show told reporters on Tuesday.
"India has proposed cooperation with Azerbaijan in the oil and gas sector, implementation of which may contribute to the development of relations between the two countries and these projects are under consideration," he said.
According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the trade turnover between the two countries totaled $328.8 million in Jan.-Oct. 2010.
