Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers have held one-on-one meeting in Riga today, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
At the meeting the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of relations in various spheres and stressed good prospects for expanding cooperation.
During the conversation, the importance of developing relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia within the European Union was noted. The sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and international issues.
