President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to President of India Pratibha Devisingh Patil on her country's national holiday - the Republic Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The letter reads: "I hope development of traditional friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and India, expansion of cooperation will always serve interests of our peoples".
President Ilham Aliyev wished the Indian leader robust health and successes in her activity, and the friendly people of India welfare and prosperity.
