Azerbaijani delegation meets PACE chairman

Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE met with the PACE Chairman Mevlut Cavusoglu, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation Samed Seyidov told reporters.
According to him, the meeting was devoted to greetings and exchange of views.
"The meeting was also attended by the Azerbaijani delegation. In addition, the meeting was attended by Azerbaijan's permanent representative to the CoE, Arif Mammadov. At the meeting, congratulations were voiced to the Azerbaijani delegation on 10th anniversary of Azerbaijan's membership to the Council of Europe. Mevlut Cavusoglu congratulated us on this historic date, and wished us successes and more active work in the future. We also talked about our main problem - Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Mevlut Cavusoglu assured us that in the future the CoE will make every effort to maintain its fair position on resolution of this conflict, as well as the representatives of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Council of Europe and representatives of the Council of Europe will provide support in addressing this problem. It is very important for us. The main problem for us is the return of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. As this meeting was devoted to greetings and exchange of ideas, the plans for the future were discussed. We will discuss these plans within the working meetings," said Seyidov.
