Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the Regional Information Center for people with physical disabilities in Ganja city, on Feb.9, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The aim of the center, which is one of the projects of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on integration of people with physical disabilities to the society, is to teach them the information technologies.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening and familiarized himself with the Center.
The Center, with a stand of photos of national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva with children, youth and the people with physical disabilities on the foyer, includes reading room, audio library, audio recording studio and computer hall.
More than 60 thousand people with physical disabilities from Agstafa, Dashkasan, Gazakh, Gadabay, Goranboy, Samukh, Tovuz, Goygol and Shamkir regions of Azerbaijan will benefit from this Center
