Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov passed away last night following a serious illness, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Ismayilov was born in Baku on April 26, 1968.
He graduated from the Arabic Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty at Baku State University. He worked in the Presidential Apparatus and various Azerbaijani diplomatic missions abroad. Ismayilov led the Azerbaijani Embassy in Austria since 2005.
Ismayilov was also Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, a number of international organizations and Azerbaijan's ambassador to Slovakia, and Slovenia.
