Latvian Interior Minister will visit Azerbaijan in April, the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Interior Minister Linda Murniece will pay her visit at the invitation of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Latvian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hardijs Baumanis and discussed the issues related to the visit on March 29.
It was stressed that the "Agreement on Cooperation between the Azerbaijani government and the Latvian government in the sphere of combating and preventing emergency situations" and the official visit are important from the viewpoint of further developing the relations in the future.
Ambassador stressed the importance of further expanding and developing the cooperation of relevant bodies of the two countries.
