Azerbaijan's President examines work done in districts of Baku (PHOTO)

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited Friday Ahmadli village of Khatai and Keshle settlement of Nizami districts over on-site inspection of what has been done thus far to implement instructions the Head of State gave with respect to socio-economic development of suburban settlements of Azerbaijan`s capital , the official website of the Azerbaijani President reported.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalybov briefed the Head of State on the streets which need getting asphalt cover in the village of Ahmadli. It was noted all instructions given by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of the city of Baku and surrounding settlements held on March 9 at the Office of Baku City Executive Power under the Chairmanship of the Head of State started to be implementation in all villages and settlements. 24 thousand square meters area in the village of Ahmadli got a new asphalt cover. The area of 40 thousand square meters soon will be paved with asphalt, as well.
As stated, new lighting systems and sewerage lines would be installed alongside streets.
President Ilham Aliyev met local residents.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Keshle settlement. Here, the area of 18 thousand 200 square meters of roads got new asphalt cover. In this area, 55 thousand square meters will be paved with asphalt, too.
Lighting systems and sewerage lines would be installed alongside streets.
After the get-acquainted meeting, the President talked to the residents of Keshle settlement.
The residents expressed gratitude to the Head of State for the improvement works done to meet socio-economic development of the people.
