Kiev will host a meeting of the foreign ministers of the CIS member states on April 8. Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting, the Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Chairman of the Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev will attend the meeting.
The council's first meeting in this year will be chaired by Tajik Permanent Representative to statutory and other bodies of the commonwealth Kozidovlat Koimdodov.
The CIS Permanent Representatives' meeting will identify the work plan for 2011.
