The Baku City Executive Power has responded to the Public Chamber's appeal to hold a rally, the employee of the structure's department for work with the social and political organizations, Zaur Ramazanov, told Trend.
Deputy Musavat Party Chairman Tofig Yagublu also confirmed this. Yagublu told Trend that the Baku City Executive Power states that the area in front of the Narimanov cinema is not designed to hold a rally. The structure recommended the Public Chamber to hold the rally at the square in front of the drivers' school.
The Public Chamber's coordinating council made a decision at its meeting on Thursday that if the Chamber is not allowed to hold the rally at the area in front of the Narimanov cinema, then the rally will be held at the Sahil park from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Previously, the Public Chamber has repeatedly tried to hold unsanctioned rallies.
