Crown Prince Haakon Magnus of Norway appreciated the cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres.
"We appreciate the relations with Azerbaijan, as evidenced by long-term activities of the Norwegian Statoil Company in Azerbaijan," Magnus said to a press conference in Baku.
The Prince paid a visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 18th International Caspian Oil and Gas, Refining & Petrochemicals Exhibition and Conference.
Azerbaijan's oil industry has passed a long way of development, and the Norwegian side was impressed by the results of this development, said Prince, mentioning Azerbaijan's rational use of oil resources.
"I also want to emphasize the development of the entire population of the Republic that can be seen in reducing poverty in the country," said the Crown Prince.
He said it testifies the proper distribution of oil revenues and their correct direction. He also emphasized the development of science and the country's achievements in the field of human rights.
