Azerbaijan and Bulgaria will establish an inter-parliamentary friendship group.
Azerbaijan attaches great importance to inter-parliamentary relations with Bulgaria and is ready to take necessary steps in this direction, diplomatic sources told Trend. The inter-parliamentary friendship group will be established to this end.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria in June Emil Karimov discussed this issue with chairwoman of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsestka Tsacheva in June.
Speaking about the role of parliaments in promoting relations between the two countries, Karimov said these relations positively influence the Azerbaijani-Bulgarian cooperation. He stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary relations and invited Tsacheva to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
