Unconstructive actions of the Armenian side displeased the participants of general debates at the 66th Session of UN General Assembly.
Using the right to reply to the speech of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Sept. 27 during the common discussions at the General Assembly, Armenia's permanent representative to the UN tried to justify the aggressive policy of his country.
In turn, the Azerbaijani delegation described the irrelevant and baseless comments of the Armenian side as the flagrant violation of the UN Charter and Armenia's obligations concerning international law, and as a shining example of its unconstructive position, the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN told Trend on Wednesday.
"The Azerbaijani delegation presented to the attention of the UN member states that the delegation of Armenia, which has committed aggression against Azerbaijan and other serious crimes during the conflict, carried out mass ethnic cleansing and openly propagates the ideology of separation, has no right to act against the victim of this policy - Azerbaijan," the same source said.
Azerbaijani delegation informed about Armenia's occupation of Azerbaijani territories, implementation of ethnic cleansing on these territories, increasing the number of attacks on civilians and civilian objects in Azerbaijan in the front zone.
Not finding an answer to the fair comments of the Azerbaijani delegation, the Armenian ambassador in fact was forced to recognize their validity.
