First Lady of Azerbaijan visits Berlin-Baku Gallery and Azerbaijan's Embassy in Germany (PHOTO)

First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva today visited the Berlin-Baku Gallery. Mrs. Aliyeva met with the Director of the Gallery, renowned artist Ibrahim Ehrari. As stated, the Berlin-Baku Gallery is a branch of the Giz Galasi art gallery in Baku. The gallery functions since 2007 and saw exhibitions of 62 Azerbaijani and 46 German artists, having arranged 43 exhibitions totally so far. The Gallery does a lot to propagandize Azerbaijani culture and art.
Then, Mehriban Aliyeva came to Azerbaijan's Embassy in Germany. Ambassador Perviz Shahbazov informed on the activity of Embassy.
President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation here met with Azerbaijan's Honored Artist, Ashraf Heybatov, residing in Germany. The artist presented the First Lady's portrait and his album to Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.
In Embassy, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva met with Professor Eva Maria Auch, Chief of the Department of Azerbaijani History of Humboldt University, who informed the First Lady on the department opened in 2010.
The First Lady wished success to the department noting that she always supports its activity.
