President of France Nicholas Sarkozy has today been given an official welcome to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the French President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
President Nicholas Sarkozy was welcomed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The Heads of State inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of France and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Nicholas Sarkozy, while members of the French delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
