President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today familiarized himself with the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex after reconstruction.
The Head of State viewed stands reflecting the previous and future look of the complex.
The President was informed the facility was one of biggest Olympic Sports Complexes in the region.
The Shaki Olympic Sports Complex opened in November, 2002 with participation of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
President Ilham Aliyev toured volleyball hall, pool and conference hall.
The reconstruction of the complex started in 2008. The total area of the facility is 8,000 square meters.
The complex has big and small sports halls, SPA center, gym, aqua park, restaurant, bowling hall, hotel, 27 cottages, kids playground and football pitch.
The Head of State praised the work done here.
