Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today received the copies of credentials of new Romanian ambassador in Azerbaijan Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, the ministry said.
The new Romanian ambassador at the meeting stressed the great potential to develop bilateral relations in many spheres, particularly in the areas of economy, trade and power engineering. The diplomat expressed his readiness to make every effort to further development.
Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister wished him success in his work.
The sides discussed the issues of mutual interest.
