Azerbaijan annulled election results in one of municipalities

Central Election Commission (CEC) annulled the results of elections held in the municipality of Bedell Gobustan-Hyzi-Sumgayit district #50 at the meeting held on Monday, because it was not possible to determine the will of the voters.

Central Election Commission (CEC) annulled the results of elections held in the municipality of Bedell Gobustan-Hyzi-Sumgayit district #50 at the meeting held on Monday, because it was not possible to determine the will of the voters.

Elections for other 329 municipalities were considered valid. Members of the Electoral Commission, confirmed this, signing the protocol.

Additional and new elections to the municipalities in Azerbaijan were held on November 30.

Total of 1549 people nominated to 464 sites in 330 municipalities. There were four candidates for each vacant seat.

9923 people were registered as observers at the elections. More than 1.155 million people had the right to vote in elections.
