The Jordanian army will hold large-scale military exercises in May, the Jordanian PETRA News Agency said on Tuesday.
About 17 countries are expected to participate in the military exercises.
Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces Mashal Mohammad said the purpose of the training is to increase military experience against terrorist threats and hazards that may be directed against the country.
The other countries that will participate in the exercises have not been named.
