The chairman of Azadlyg opposition party accuses the so-called Public chamber of spreading false information.
"The coordination council of the co-called Public chamber says it coordinates its activities with other opposition forces but it's a lie. The so-called Public Chamber did not apply to the resistance movement in the name of a democratic society where we are represented, or in connection with the present or previous actions," chairman of the Azerbaijani Azadlyg opposition party Ahmed Oruj told Trend. He was expressing his attitude to a rally planned by the so-called Public Chamber.
He noted the media spread false information about the existence of such negotiations, co-ordination.
"We invite them to our events, but they do not come and do not invite us to theirs. In this way they create in the public perception of the unity of the opposition, but in fact they do everything for it not to happen," said the party's chairman.
He said political forces united in the so-called Public Chamber have been engaged for 20 years in deceiving society.
"On April there will be the same slogans, we have seen for 20 years. Society is tired of them, they have no faith. Most of these functionaries are the people whom they hold by the salary and who are near them in despair," Oruj said.
