Some circles are concerned about the relations of cooperation existing between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Therefore, they have included the issue of David Gareji church location into the agenda, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov said at a press-conference today.
"Azerbaijan and Georgia had borders known from the Soviet period," Hasanov said.
"The operations on these borders delimitation were carried out during the years of independence. It was revealed that the territory of the church belongs to Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani side must protect it."
