Omar Medina Qvintero appointed the new Cuban Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Cuban Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero Torres, who ends diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The new ambassador will arrive in Baku in late August.
Prior to his appointment in Baku, Qvintero worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, and has previously headed the Cuban diplomatic mission in Belarus.
He speaks English, Russian, Serbian, Croatian and Spanish.
Qvintero is married and has two daughters.
