Iran’s embassy in Azerbaijan issues appeal over Quds Day

The Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan has issued an appeal on Friday in connection with the Quds Day.
"Today is the last Friday of Ramadan. This day by patron of Iranian Islamic Revolution was declared the Quds Day. This day has become a symbol of resistance and struggle for the liberation of the holy land of the Muslim countries," the embassy said.
The Quds Day has become a day of Muslim unity for the liberation of the first Qibla of Muslims from the power of the Zionist regime and the liberation of the occupied Muslim lands," the statement says.
"On the eve of Ramadan we ask Allah to accept prayers of dear and glorious Azerbaijani people and wish liberation of land of Palestine and other occupied Muslim lands, especially the Nagorno-Karabakh," the embassy said.
