President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has visited a new house built for resident of Gulluk village Abdulla Mammadov in Gakh.
Mammadov`s house was damaged in a quake that hit the northern-western part of the country this May.
The President was told that 3,336 houses and 19 social facilities in Gakh were graded as damaged after the May quake by a special task force of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Some 295 houses were demolished in the region`s Gulluk, Gapichay, Lakit, Lakit-Kotuklu, Zarna and Fistigli villages. Construction work now continues in 266 of these houses.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the house built for Mammadov occupied a total area of 118 square meters. The two-storied house has fiver rooms.
Mammadov thanked the President for his care and attention.
