Strategic relations of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey are in a more deepened form. The basis for that is the fact that both countries in bilateral and multilateral relations support each other without exception, head of socio-political department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov said on Thursday, commenting on Azerbaijani-Turkish relations.
"Both countries use all their possibilities, and always take mutual interests into account, while facing each other's both internal and external problems," Hasanov noted.
Hasanov said that Azerbaijan holds the same principles in relations with other neighboring countries. With some states, these relations are in the initial form, with others - in deepened form, and with some - in the form of strategic cooperation.
"In most cases, Azerbaijan builds its relations with neighbors based on the principles of strategic partnership, friendship and neighborhood. Azerbaijan has similar agreements with most of the neighboring states, except Armenia. In particular, such agreements are concluded with the Russian Federation, Iran, Georgia, Ukraine and other states," Hasanov underscored.
