Azerbaijani President receives WB Regional Director for South Caucasus

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.
During the meeting, the sides praised the relations between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, saying they have been developing throughout their 20-years long history.
They praised the potential for expansion of cooperation between the country and the organization. Henry Kerali said World Bank was interested in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The sides praised Azerbaijan's economic achievements, and also stressed the importance of continuing reforms and cooperation in creating infrastructure, ensuring supply of renewable energy and drinking water, using the Caspian water for irrigation, creating high technologies based agricultural businesses, supporting local entrepreneurship, and diversifying economy.
