Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct. 22 / Trend E. Mehdiyev /
Azerbaijan's youth with common sense must bring up their irresponsible peers who do not obey the law enforcement bodies' calls in the spirit of observing the legal requirements, head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Ali Hasanov told Trend today.
He was expressing attitude to the attempt of some younger members of opposition parties to hold an unsanctioned rally in Baku on October 20.
He said that around 200 young people's attempt to challenge the law, and the suppression of their intentions is something that occurs in all world countries.
"First of all, we assess this as irresponsibility of these young people and those who incite them to do this. Such actions cannot shake Azerbaijani state, hinder the activity of the police or disrupt the existing stability. We've seen such incidents, and if it will continue to happen, we will once again suppress them," Hasanov said.
Speaking about the opposition's attempts to use such incidents in its interests, Hasanov said that its nothing new for the opposition, since it has always incited the youth to such actions, while tried to realize its own plans behind young people's backs.
"They failed again and will fail in the future," Hasanov said.
