Pakistan and Turkey will hold joint naval exercises, the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak reported referring to Pakistan's embassy in Ankara today.
According to the newspaper, the exercises code-named "Blue Whale" will be held in November. The newspaper did not report about the type and the number of the ships that will take part in the maneuvers.
In early October, Turkey and Egypt held joint naval exercises in the east of the Mediterranean Sea.
According to "Al Jazeera" TV channel, the exercises lasted two weeks. Five ships and Air Force participated from the Egyptian side.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul ratified an intergovernmental agreement on conducting joint military exercises with Saudi Arabia on Oct. 10, Resmi Gazete reported.
