A joint armed forces division of Turkic-speaking countries was created with the participation of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, law enforcement bodies told Trend today.

A joint armed forces division of Turkic-speaking countries was created with the participation of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, law enforcement bodies told Trend today. Mongolia also joined this initiative.

According to the information, this new group was called using the capital letters of their countries' names - TAKM.

The symbol of the Armed Forces depicting a horse was presented to the Turkish Gendarmerie Commander, Gen. Bekir Kalyoncu by Commander of Azerbaijani Internal Troops Zakir Hasanov, the information said.

The founding conference of the Eurasia Military Law Enforcement Bodies Association was held on Jan. 23. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia attended the conference.

Azerbaijani Deputy Interior Minister and Commander of Internal Troops, Lieutenant-General Zakir Hasanov, Turkish Gendarmerie Commander, Gen. Bekir Kalyoncu and Commander of Kyrgyz Internal Troops, Colonel Sovetbek Arbaev and a delegation from Mongolia attended the conference.
