During the official visit to the UAE Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The sides have expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and discussed the possibility of expanding economic ties and joint investment projects.
The ministers also stressed the importance of expanding cooperation within international organizations, including the UN and the OIC.
At the meeting, Mammadyarov informed his counterpart about the negotiation process on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and exchanged views on regional issues.
Mammadyarov has invited UAE counterpart to visit Azerbaijan and the invitation was accepted with pleasure.
