The government of Georgia issued contracts for six months with two lobbist companies, said on Wednesday the deputy state minister concerning integration in European and Euro-Atlantic structures Tamar Beruchashvili.

According to her, the main objective of the contracts is the assistance of the integration of Georgia in European Union and NATO.

"Kambra" company will work in the direction of the European Union. Its main objective is to give recommendations to the government of Georgia, the activity activization in Euro-Atlantic structures and the use of new channels of communication. The company will receive 40 thousand euros a month for doing this work.

The second company is "Patan Boxing". It will assist the government of Georgia with the relations with the USA and communication with NATO. The company will receive 90 thousand dollars a month for the services.

According to Tamar Beruchashvili, the contracts issued with the lobbist companies, will be published on the websites of the government of Georgia and the administration of the state minister concerning integration in European and Euro-Atlantic structures. Such kind of information has been never public before, though tens of millions were spent for lobbyists, she told.

"A number of contracts really served the interests of the country, but the most part of them causes suspicions. For instance, in last two years only one department spent for these purposes 32 million lari", noted Tamar Beruchashvili.
